Title: Herlock Sholmes: The Folly

Through this project, I learned how to illustrate architectural forms and space through visualization and expression of space in the form of freehand drawing, lettering, and colouring media. Using these elements, I am tasked to clearly express the essence of the storyline as well as the genre of the movie.

Herlock Sholmes: The Folly

Genre: Victorian Mystery

‘Herlock Sholmes: The Folly’ begins when the infamous Detective Sherlock Holmes went missing. After his disappearance, Sherlock Holmes’ wife steps up to investigate on her husband’s case. Using the alias ‘Herlock Sholmes’, she assists the police by handing them the evidence she finds. The ash-leaved trumpet flowers symbolises the essence of Herlock’s separation, according to the Victorian Language of Flowers.
